Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Construction Safety Manager based in Charlotte, NC. The Construction Safety Manager will oversee daily safety operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites. Key responsibilities include conducting safety training, investigating incidents, implementing EHS programs, identifying and mitigating hazards, and collaborating with teams to foster a culture of safety in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety practices and regulations
• Proficiency in Safety Training and Accident Investigation methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and practices
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to develop and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures
• Familiarity with construction industry standards and work environments
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA, CSP, or CHST are a plus
