Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced luxury retail or fine jewelry sales associate to join our Trunk Show Program . This position requires client-facing/clienteling comfort, creativity, and an interest in fashion and design. A Trunk Show Manager is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and booking of all aspects of their assigned trunk show territory while acting as the sales liaison between our clients and our production team to create custom pieces, heirloom reworks, engagement rings, and line collections. They are also responsible for providing an exceptional, elevated level of service focused on driving sales results and building strong, lasting client relationships. This role requires approximately twenty weekends of travel annually, Friday through Monday across major US markets in luxury hotels.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed territory sales goals
  • Coordinate appointment schedules, book flights and hotels, and track expenses incurred for trunk shows
  • Manage sales cycle from qualifying through project delivery
  • Work with the marketing team to drive traffic to trunk shows
  • High sensitivity to customer experience, loyalty, and retention (CRM)
  • Follow inventory management protocols and ensure appropriate inventory for each show
  • Abide by loss prevention protocols pertinent to traveling with product
  • Execute visual merchandising standards while in non-Marrow locations 
  • Communicate effectively across the organization and with clients
  • Embrace brand identity, culture, and product knowledge
  • Demonstrate Marrow values including respect, teamwork, and professionalism for yourself and your colleagues, and maintain high morale and professionalism 
  • Act as a role model for the accompanying Hybrid Stylist
  • Assume additional responsibilities, as requested

Qualifications

  • Three or more years experience in a luxury retail or customer service related environment (jewelry and clienteling experience is a plus)
  • Professional travel experience
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
  • Ability to eloquently and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management both written and verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
  • Ability to multitask while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends with a minimum of 40 hours of availability per week
  • Bachelors Degree+ or Trade School Equivalent Preferred (GIA) 

Pay Structure & Start Date

  • Base salary plus uncapped variable commission based on monthly sales volume
  • On target earnings (base plus variable commissions) for meeting monthly and quarterly sales goals is estimated at $110,000-$130,000 annually
  • * Actual earnings will be more or less depending on actual performance to goal.
