Job Description

Must-haves

3–7 years in supply planning / operations or a recent MBA with strong analytics internships/projects; comfortable operating as a hands-on analyst/consultant.
Solid Power BI skills (Power Query, data modeling/relationships, DAX basics for measures; able to troubleshoot and QA).
Practical PO/inventory planning exposure; confident making and documenting expedite/defer/allocation recommendations.
ERP familiarity (ideally NetSuite); understanding of EDI flows/retailer compliance and how they affect supply visibility.
Experience with LTL/FTL, forwarders, and 3PLs—enough to interpret their data and drive actions with partners.
Clear, structured project management across time zones (US/China).
Strong documentation and reconciliation mindset (you leave processes better than you found them).

Nice-to-haves

Connecting ops data to P&L or margin models (SKU-level landed-cost or contribution analysis).
Basic SQL or advanced Excel for ad-hoc checks and reconciliations.
Prior consulting, rotational program, or center-of-excellence experience supporting supply/ops teams.

Job Description:

Contract role for an estimated 10-14+ weeks with immediate start preference.
US-based remote considered; some early/late calls to align with China. Preference for Chicago in office Tuesday-Thursday.
No direct reports: you’ll influence without authority, partnering with the Acting NA Ops Lead, EDI Manager, and Sales Support Specialist

Hourly Rate: 30-40/hr
