Orange Door Community Wellness (ODCW)
Position: Public Relations/Fundraising Manager
Part-time: 12-15 hours per week
Hours: Flexible. Primarily normal business hours (occasional evening/weekend hours)
Location: Work mostly from home.
Salary: $1200 per month for the first 3 months. With the achievement of primary responsibilities, hours and wages will increase along with increased responsibility and in conjunction with increased income for the organization.
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree or above, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Grant writing and fundraising skills and experience
● Communicate, schedule, advertise and coordinate events, workshops and classes.
● Calendar Management
● Excellent written and oral communication skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously
● Ability to form strong relationships with supporters
● Attention to detail and ability to take initiative
● Strong time management skills
● General knowledge of non-profit finances and income generation.
● Computer proficiency including: Microsoft Office programs, Google Suite, internet and social media platforms
● Ability to operate and utilize own vehicle for ODCW business on occasion.
●Attendance and reporting at monthly BOD meetings

Orange Door Community Wellness is a community focused non-profit organization providing wellness opportunities and resources for anyone seeking to grow, learn and encourage their own wellness. By cultivating our individual wellness, we then encourage our community wellness as a whole. We are based in Grand Junction, Colorado and serve the Grand Valley.
This position is a business development position with the opportunity to build and grow Orange Door Community Wellness.
The Public Relations/Fundraising Manager will focus their time in three main areas.
● Fundraising which includes:
Grant writing, Partnership development with businesses and corporations, Relationship development with foundations, individual donors, and other key contributors, and planned gifts.
● Promotion of ODCW and its accomplishments with potential donors and the greater community.
● Collaboration with the Board of Directors in the development and growth of ODCW events while maintaining alignment with the organization's mission.
Attendance at monthly board meetings to report progress status of collaborations and fundraising efforts is required.
EXPECTATIONS AND MEASURED SUCESS
Within the first 90 days of employment, we would expect to see an increase in community partnerships and collaboration with ODCW and local businesses and corporations for income, exposure, and/or outreach -or- substantiation that income, partnerships(s) or collaboration(s) are forthcoming and in progress.
Upon measured success of the primary functions of the Public Relations/Fundraising Manager, additional duties may include: increased business development, administrative duties, program management, instructor/staff/volunteer management and assistance with strategic planning.
Measured success would include:
An increase in incoming revenue by $1200/month minimum by the third month -or- substantiation that grant funds or other forms of income are on the way.
An increase in community partnerships and collaboration with local businesses and corporations ODCW for income, exposure, and/or outreach -or- there is substantiation that partnerships(s) or collaboration(s) are in progress.
As a Public Relations and Fundraising Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the public image of our organization as well as developing goals and plans for raising money, identifying and exploring donor pools, personally handling VIP donors, writing grant proposals and managing marketing efforts like direct mail campaigns and planning fundraising events
