Rx relief is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a leading 503B Outsourcing Facility.

Qualifications:

Active New York Pharmacist Technician license
3+ years’ experience in a 503B, hospital compounding, or cGMP-regulated setting
Strong understanding of FDA, DEA, and state regulations
Experience with QMS and controlled substance compliance
Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and compounding techniques
Understanding of sterile compounding procedures and aseptic technique

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations according to established protocols and safety standards
Accurately measure, mix, and package medications following physician orders and pharmacy specifications
Maintain detailed production records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Operate and maintain pharmacy production equipment, including automated dispensing systems and compounding tools
Perform quality control checks on all prepared medications to ensure accuracy and safety
Follow USP guidelines and maintain aseptic technique when preparing sterile products
Organize and stock pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage conditions and rotation of medications
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and production facilities according to established procedures
Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely production
Assist in training new technicians on production processes and safety protocols
Monitor expiration dates and remove outdated medications from inventory
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations
