Job Description:
Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice, within the limits of state and federal laws and corporate policies. Manage and maximize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by monitoring the pharmacy budget, minimizing or altogether avoiding unauthorized overtime, performing necessary pharmacy staff training and development, providing excellence in customer service, managing prescription pricing and generic utilization, controlling pharmacy inventory, and providing/implementing/participating in corporate approved clinical services. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited
U.S. School of Pharmacy
- 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training
- Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents
- Proven leadership skills
- License must be in good standing
