Digital Press Operators

• ability to set-up and run a minimum of two different press types in accordance with GSP and industry specifications and complete necessary daily and weekly paperwork
• verify information on work order is correct and make press standard adjustments as required to ensure quality standards are met
• meet or exceed print efficiency standards, monitor print assistant and QCI for adherence to procedures,
• strong grasp of workflow, processes, and procedures and maintain cleanliness of press & press area,
• ability to use PMS color matching book & densitometer to measure dot characteristics and colorspace,
• cross train in a minimum of one other area and work in other areas as needed
• Machine Operator experience, 3-6+ months preferred,

Cutter

The Cutter is responsible for making sure the specifics of a job that needs cutting are understood and followed by reading the job jacket and looking over the printed work. The position is responsible for passing a high-quality product which meets quality standards to the next workstation. The Cutter may also be responsible to perform other duties as capable and assigned.

· Take printed stock and cut to the proper dimensions as called for on the production order

· Operate large cutting machines to make detailed custom cuts for various types of printed stock

·Read work order and verify all fabrication, that needs to be accomplished before cutting, is completed

·Cut in accordance with priorities set by Supervisor

· Report any issues or problems relating to signage to be cut to management

·Maintain all safety and cleanliness standards

· Utilize forklift as needed

·Experience with Cutting and Router machines

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

· Highly organized, with strong attention to detail

· Ability to manage large workload, while producing quality work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and deadlines

· Basic knowledge of computers

· Ability to pass a basic skills test

· Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

· Safety conscious with ability to perform job functions in a safe manner

· Ability to work alone and under minimal supervision

·Ability to build effective relationships

·Ability to contribute to building a strong and positive team spirit as well as align with GSP values

All positions must be able to write, read, communicate and understand English, must be available for weekend work shifts & overtime as needed and be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements.
