Designation: Legal Manager (Inhouse attorney)
Location : Dallas, Plano (Onsite)Txs
Reporting : CEO , US
Operations / Dotted line group GC Head, Dubai.
Responsibilities
*Lead the legal department as inhouse attorney
*Real Estate industry exposure a must with prior experience working in Dallas / Texas market - having connects with various city councils, large land bank families & county officials, worked previously with known real estate law firms or inhouse attorneys .
*Play advisory to management on local , State , Federal laws and compliances proactively.
*Exposure to land entitlement checks , acquisition, Title commitments check , Entitlements and government liaison .
*Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure, Awareness of forgien investment laws, compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
*Negotiate and draft complex agreements, including construction contracts, real estate acquisitions, and financing arrangements.
*Advise on regulatory matters, zoning issues, land use permits, and environmental compliance.
*Handle litigation and legal disputes, including managing relationships with external counsel as needed.
Qualifications and desired exp
Bachelor’s degree law school and licensed to practice law in Dallas/ Texas/ Pan US a big plus not mandatory.
*Incumbent has to be US Citizen / green card holder based in Dallas
*Real Estate industry exposure in Dallas/ Texas must.
Minimum of 8- 10 years of legal experience, with significant expertise in construction law, real estate transactions, and development projects. Prior green/ Brown field exposure and experience in manage JV contracts , land acquisition, entitlement and government affairs - liaison Ing .
*Prior exposure in working with Asian or overseas companies who had set up their US subsidiary In Dallas is a big plus .
