Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef based in Menlo Park, CA. The Executive Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, quality control, and team leadership. This position involves managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and crafting innovative dishes aligned with the restaurant's culinary vision. The Executive Chef will collaborate with the management team to enhance guest experiences and drive the success of the establishment.

Qualifications

  • Proven culinary expertise, including skills in menu development, food preparation, and innovative recipe creation
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities to oversee and mentor kitchen staff effectively
  • Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and sourcing high-quality ingredients
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership position
  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
