Job Opportunity: ER Phlebotomist – Local Contract

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist for a 13-week travel contract with Rochester Regional Health – Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is a critical role providing essential services in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting.

Position: Phlebotomist

Facility: Rochester Regional Health - Unity Hospital

Location: Rochester, NY

Employment Type: Travel | 13 Weeks

Schedule: Days, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30), Sunday - Thursday

Pay: $19/hr

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Phlebotomy experience
• ER Phlebotomy experience is required
• Hospital-based experience is required
• Proficiency with all tube types and special procedures (ABG, finger sticks)
• Must be experienced with patients of all ages (Infants to Geriatrics)
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection in the Emergency Room
• Prioritize stat, timed, and routine collections
• Perform point-of-care testing
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and safety protocols
