Job Title: EEG Tech
Location: Urbana, IL
Schedule: 5x8 hrs. (40 hrs. / week)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day
Pay Range: $1800 – $1950 / week DOE
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated EEG Tech to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will performs neurodiagnostic tests and analyze results, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with physicians for abnormal findings.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform and document all types of EEG tests, including ambulatory, bedside, and standard lab EEGs.
· Clean and disinfect equipment, following infection control policies.
· Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients, ensuring optimal test results.
· Communicate with physicians regarding abnormal EEG results.
· Troubleshoot and arrange repair services for equipment as needed.
· Maintain patient records and adhere to safety and operational standards.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of two (2) EEG Experience
· Current BLS certification required.
· EEG/EP Technologists Certification (Certified by ABRET)
