Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Mph- Client Site in New York. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture and be able to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in cloud technologies, who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures that align with business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions are integrated seamlessly into existing systems.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration strategies for transitioning on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Establish best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and stakeholders on cloud architecture principles.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve cloud solutions.
• Document architectural designs, processes, and procedures for cloud implementations.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Understanding of data storage solutions and database management in the cloud.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in cloud architecture or related disciplines are highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successful cloud architecture projects.
