Job Description

We are looking to fill several positions at varying levels, including a Professional Engineer (PE) and an Engineer Intern (EI) to assist with site planning and/or various public-sector civil engineering design projects for clients, including counties, cities, and other agencies & municipalities. Our ideal candidate can assist with projects, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients.

AIM's Civil Engineering services include site development, public infrastructure, water resources and stormwater management, hydrologic and ecosystem restoration, construction phase services, and general engineering administration. This position's preferred location is our Fort Myers corporate office, where hybrid schedules are available. Other locations, including Tampa and Orlando , will be considered based on experience.

Objectives of this Role:

• Provide diverse production engineering design expertise for various civil engineering projects and technical reports.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and review agency personnel to maintain professional relationships.
• Ability to track and complete project tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Adhere to internal Quality Control to ensure designs, plans, and calculations are complete and accurate.
• Ability to direct, train, and mentor junior staff

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS is preferred
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations governing civil engineering projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of clients
