& Part Time ( PTO and 401 K)

Job Summary

We invite you to join a legacy 100 years in the making. Sorensen’s Cafe, nestled in the beautiful Sierras, has been serving up delicious food and creative drinks for all of Hope Valley’s travelers. 

 

General Accountabilities

· Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.

· Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.

· Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.

· Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.

· Ensures smooth operation of restaurant services during absence of supervisor.

• Ensuring all opening and closing procedures are completed
• Knowledge of proper cash handling procedures

 

Job Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of wine, spirits, and different types of cuisines
• 5+ years of bartending
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
• High level of stamina to work to work on feet for extended periods
• Must be 21and over
• Must have a California food handlers card
• Can lift up to 25 pounds unassisted

• Knowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends
• Knowledge in craft cocktails
